Indie folk singer Laura Gibson has been getting a lot of buzz lately with the release of her new album, Beasts Of Seasons. It is easy to see why music critics have lauded her latest effort. In essence, Beasts Of Seasons is an intimate affair. Split into two parts -- Part I: Communion Songs and Part II: Funeral Songs, her tunes address death and the various human emotions which arise as a result. Gibson's sweet, delicate vocals are mostly paired with acoustic guitar fingerpicking, but they occasionally give way to lusher arrangements.
